Sulzer sanctioned in Poland

On the QT has to temporarily suspend the activities of its two legal entities in Poland – Sulzer Pumps Wastewater Poland and Sulzer Turbo Services Poland – as a end result of sanctions levied by the Polish authorities on its Russian minority shareholder Viktor Vekselberg.

The Swiss engineering group believes that the sanctions in opposition to its two entities in Poland are faulty and says that Vekselberg has no control or possession of any Sulzer entity.

Sulzer has 192 staff in Poland and the group is continuous to supply assist to the families impacted by the native Polish sanctions.
If the suspension have been to last, the potential impression on Sulzer’s sales is limited to CHF21 million, which represents 0.6% of the group’s whole gross sales in 2021.
Sulzer is not sanctioned in some other country or authorized entity.
