Family mourns teen Freya Cayley after tragic North Yorkshire sea incident

The family members of a 16-year-old woman, whose body was recovered from the sea at Saltburn beach in North Yorkshire, have expressed their heartbreak over the loss of their “beautiful daughter.” Freya Cayley was discovered in the water on Sunday, based on Cleveland Police. Emergency companies, including two lifeboats and an air ambulance, rushed to the scene after receiving reports of a body within the water round 2pm.
The teenager’s family, who reside in Easington, launched a press release saying, “We are truly devastated to announce the passing of our lovely daughter Freya ‘Boo’. It just isn’t possible to explain the ache and loss that we as a household really feel. We take so much consolation in understanding how loved Freya was by so many.”
The family added, “We won’t ever overcome the lack of our treasured child but we will strive to hold her memory ahead and rejoice Freya as life continues for us. Luxurious love and miss you Boo however we know you’re always with us in our hearts, we’ll never actually lose you.”
